At Mullins & Henry in Lucan, we are all happy to attend to our customers' optical needs from your first step in the practice.
It doesn’t matter if you require an appointment or need an adjustment to your existing frames, we are here to help by providing quality eye examinations and assisting you to choose your perfect frames and lenses.
MEET THE TEAM
All of our Optometrists are experienced, qualified eye care professionals (registered with the Optician Board) that are trained to assess your vision and the health of your eyes. They are able to prescribe glasses and contact lenses.
As well as testing your vision, during your eye examination they will also check for signs of eye diseases, and refer you accordingly to the appropriate follow-up care.
Michael Mullins
Optometrists
Michael is our resident Optometrist. He graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology in 1981 and became a fellow of the Association of Optometrists. He established Mullins & Henry alongside his colleague Derek Henry in 1982.
Derek Henry
Optometrist
Derek graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology in 1981 and became a fellow of the Association of Optometrists. He established Mullins & Henry alongside his colleague Michael Mullins in 1982. They opened the Lucan practice together in 1983. Derek has over 40 years’ experience in optics and his motto has always been “the patients always comes first”.
Liz
Optical Assistant
Liz has ten years in optics and has a passion for finding the perfect fit for each patient. Bubbly and brings fun to the practice.
Tatiana
Optical Assistant
Tatiana is Eager to help and please the patient , loves to see the patient journey right to the end
Sarah Henry
Part Time Optical Assistant
Sarah has been working with Mullins & Henry since 2005. Mullins & Henry is very close to Sarah’s heart, as her father, Derek Henry, is a co-founder. As a frame stylist, Sarah is skilled at helping the patient choose the perfect frame.
